Amazing 60th Anniversary 59 Reissue! (Stock #1199)
Gibson has made something special with these 60th Anniversary 59s. The last few years of reissue have been wonderful and these are right in line with those, with a couple nice changes. The top and color on this one is wonderful. The top has a nice, even, strong flame with some amazing grain. The color is new for 2019 is a perfect blend of factory cherry and iced tea. It look like real 59 somewhere between the two. The tone is amazing. It is a super resonant guitar and with Gibson’s upgrades it is fantastic. The new appointments from Gibson of real PIO caps, unspotted custombuckers and the most useable pots Gibson has ever install is a magical combination, that was previously hard to achieve without going after-market. The neck is a perfect feeling medium profile with excellent playability. This guitar is in as new condition.
